Psalms 79:2-3

2 They have given ^athe bodies of your servants
to the birds of the heavens for food,
the flesh of your ^bfaithful to ^cthe beasts of the earth.
3 They have poured out their blood like water
all around Jerusalem,
and there was ^dno one to bury them.

Jeremiah 7:33

33 ^eAnd the dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the air, and for the beasts of the earth, ^fand none will frighten them away.

Jeremiah 9:22

22 Speak: “Thus declares the Lord,
^g‘The dead bodies of men shall fall
like dung upon the open field,
^hlike sheaves after the reaper,
and none shall gather them.’”

Jeremiah 15:2-3

Jeremiah 16:4

4 ^mThey shall die of deadly diseases. ⁿThey shall not be lamented, nor shall they be buried. ^oThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground. ^pThey shall perish by the sword and by famine, ^qand their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and for the beasts of the earth.

Jeremiah 18:21

21 Therefore ^rdeliver up their children to famine;
give them over to the power of the sword;
let their wives become childless ^sand widowed.
May their men meet death by pestilence,
their youths be struck down by the sword in battle.

6 therefore, ^tbehold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when this place shall no more be called Topheth, or ^uthe Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. 7 And in this place ^vI will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem, ^wand will cause their people to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. ^xI will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth.
