Daniel 7:13-14

The Son of Man Is Given Dominion

13 “I saw in the night visions,

and ^hbehold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the ⁱAncient of Days
and was presented before him.
14 ^jAnd to him was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,
that all ^kpeoples, nations, and languages
should serve him;
^lhis dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed.

John 5:21-29

21 For as the Father ^mraises the dead and ⁿgives them life, so ^oalso the Son gives life ^pto whom he will. 22 ^qFor the Father judges no one, but ^rhas given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they ^shonor the Father. ^tWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, ^uwhoever hears my word and ^vbelieves him who sent me has eternal life. He ^wdoes not come into judgment, but ^xhas passed from death to life.

25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^yan hour is coming, and is now here, when ^zthe dead will hear ^aathe voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^abwill live. 26 ^acFor as the Father has life in himself, ^adso he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he ^aehas given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for ^afan hour is coming when ^agall who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, ^ahthose who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
