Psalms 80:8-13

8 You brought aa vine out of Egypt;
you bdrove out the nations and planted it.
9You ccleared the ground for it;
it took deep root and filled the land.
10The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11It sent out its branches to dthe sea
and its shoots to ethe River.
That is,  the Euphrates

12Why then have you gbroken down its walls,
so that all who pass along the way pluck its fruit?
13 hThe boar from the forest ravages it,
and all that move in the field feed on it.

Isaiah 5:1-4

The Vineyard of the Lord Destroyed

1 Let me sing for my beloved
my love song concerning his vineyard:
My beloved had ia vineyard
on a very fertile hill.
2He dug it and cleared it of stones,
and planted it with jchoice vines;
he built a watchtower in the midst of it,
and hewed out a wine vat in it;
and khe looked for it to yield grapes,
but it yielded wild grapes.
3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem
and men of Judah,
judge between me and my vineyard.
4 lWhat more was there to do for my vineyard,
that I have not done in it?
mWhen I looked for it to yield grapes,
why did it yield wild grapes?

Jeremiah 2:21

21 nYet I planted you a choice vine,
wholly of pure seed.
oHow then have you turned degenerate
and become a wild vine?

Matthew 21:19-20

19 pAnd seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again!” And the fig tree withered at once.

20When the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither at once?”

Mark 11:12-14
