Isaiah 66:4

4 ^eI also will choose harsh treatment for them
and bring ^ftheir fears upon them,
^gbecause when I called, no one answered,
when I spoke, they did not listen;

and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Ezekiel 14:7-10

7 For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, ⁱwho separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, ^jI the Lord will answer him myself. 8 And ^kI will set my face against that man; I ^lwill make him a sign and a byword ^mand cut him off from the midst of my people, ⁿand you shall know that I am the Lord. 9 And if the prophet is deceived and speaks a word, ^oI, the Lord, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. 10 And they shall bear their punishment ^{▼▼Or iniquity; three times in this verse}—the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike—

25 ^qMoreover, I gave them statutes that were not good and rules by which they could not have life,

Romans 1:24-28

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, ^acGod gave them up to ^ada debased mind to do ^aewhat ought not to be done.
