4They say, “Come, elet us wipe them out as a nation;
let the name of Israel be remembered no more!”
5For they conspire with one accord;
against you they make a covenant
6the tents of fEdom and gthe Ishmaelites,
hMoab and ithe Hagrites,
7 jGebal and kAmmon and lAmalek,
mPhilistia with the inhabitants of nTyre;
8 oAsshur also has joined them;

and gather yourselves there.
vBring down your warriors, O Lord.

For acthe day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
