Of David.

1 ajBless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 akBless the Lord, O my soul,
and alforget not all his benefits,
3who amforgives all your iniquity,
who anheals all your diseases,
4who aoredeems your life from the pit,
who apcrowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5who aqsatisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like arthe eagle’s.
6 The Lord works asrighteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
7He made known his atways to Moses,
his auacts to the people of Israel.
8The Lord is avmerciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
9 awHe will not always chide,
nor will he axkeep his anger forever.
10He does not deal with us ayaccording to our sins,
nor repay us according to our iniquities.
11For azas high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his basteadfast love toward bbthose who fear him;
12as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he bcremove our transgressions from us.
13As bda father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion beto those who fear him.
14For he knows our frame;
Or  knows how we are formed

he bgremembers that we are dust.
15 As for man, his days are like bhgrass;
he flourishes like bia flower of the field;
16for bjthe wind passes over it, and bkit is gone,
and blits place knows it no more.
17But bmthe steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on bnthose who fear him,
and his righteousness to bochildren’s children,
18to those who bpkeep his covenant
and bqremember to do his commandments.
19The Lord has brestablished his throne in the heavens,
and his bskingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, O you bthis angels,
you bumighty ones who bvdo his word,
