Psalms 9:14

14that I may recount all your praises,
that in the gates of athe daughter of Zion
I may brejoice in your salvation.

Psalms 10:1-5

Why Do You Hide Yourself?

1 Why, O Lord, do you stand cfar away?
Why ddo you hide yourself in etimes of trouble?
2 In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor;
let them fbe caught in the schemes that they have devised.
3For the wicked gboasts of the desires of his soul,
and the one greedy for gain hcurses
Or  and he blesses the one greedy for gain
and jrenounces the Lord.
4In the pride of his face
Or  of his anger
the wicked does not lseek him;
Or  the wicked says, “He will not call to account”

all his thoughts are, n“There is no God.”
5His ways prosper at all times;
your judgments are on high, oout of his sight;
as for all his foes, he ppuffs at them.

Psalms 145:5-6

5On qthe glorious splendor of your majesty,
and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.
6They shall speak of rthe might of your awesome deeds,
and I will declare your greatness.

Isaiah 63:7-19

The Lord’s Mercy Remembered

7 I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord,
the praises of the Lord,
according to all that the Lord has granted us,
sand the great goodness to the house of Israel
that he has granted them according to his compassion,
according to the abundance of his steadfast love.
8For he said, “Surely they are my people,
children who will not deal falsely.”
And he became their Savior.
9 tIn all their affliction he was afflicted,
Or  he did not afflict

and the angel of his presence saved them;
vin his love and in his pity he redeemed them;
whe lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
10 xBut they rebelled
yand grieved his Holy Spirit;
therefore he turned to be their enemy,
and himself fought against them.
11Then he remembered zthe days of old,
of Moses and his people.
Or  Then his people remembered the days of old, of Moses

abWhere is he who brought them up out of the sea
with the shepherds of his flock?
Where is he who put in the midst of them
his Holy Spirit,
12who caused his glorious arm
to go at the right hand of Moses,
acwho divided the waters before them
adto make for himself an everlasting name,
13who led them through the depths?
Like a horse in the desert,
they did not stumble.
14Like livestock that go down into the valley,
aethe Spirit of the Lord gave them rest.
So you led your people,
afto make for yourself a glorious name.

Prayer for Mercy

15 agLook down from heaven and see,
ahfrom your holy and beautiful
Or  holy and glorious
habitation.
Where are ajyour zeal and your might?
The stirring of your inner parts and your compassion
are held back from me.
16For akyou are our Father,
though Abraham does not know us,
and Israel does not acknowledge us;
you, O Lord, are our Father,
alour Redeemer from of old is your name.
17O Lord, why do you make us wander from your ways
and amharden our heart, so that we fear you not?
anReturn for the sake of your servants,
the tribes of your heritage.
18 aoYour holy people held possession for a little while;
Or They have dispossessed your holy people for a little while

aqour adversaries have trampled down your sanctuary.
19 arWe have become like those over whom you have never ruled,
like those who are not called by your name.
