Psalms 90:5-9

5 You asweep them away as with a flood; they are like ba dream,
like cgrass that is renewed in the morning:
6in dthe morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it efades and fwithers.
7 For we are brought to an end by your anger;
by your wrath we are dismayed.
8You have gset our iniquities before you,
our hsecret sins in the light of your presence.
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;
we bring our years to an end like a sigh.

Psalms 92:7

7that though ithe wicked sprout like grass
and all jevildoers flourish,
they are doomed to destruction forever;

Psalms 92:12

12 kThe righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Psalms 103:15-16

15 As for man, his days are like lgrass;
he flourishes like ma flower of the field;
16for nthe wind passes over it, and oit is gone,
and pits place knows it no more.

Isaiah 40:6-8

The Word of God Stands Forever

6 A voice says, “Cry!”
And I said,

What shall I cry?”
rAll flesh is grass,
and all its beauty
Or  all its constancy
is like the flower of the field.
7The grass withers, the flower fades
when the breath of the Lord blows on it;
surely the people are grass.
8 tThe grass withers, the flower fades,
but the word of our God will stand forever.

James 1:10-11

10and uthe rich in his humiliation, because vlike a flower of the grass
Or  a wild flower
he will pass away.
11For the sun rises with its scorching heat and xwithers the grass; its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

James 4:14

14yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For yyou are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.
