Psalms 92:12-14

12 aThe righteous flourish like the palm tree
and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13They are planted in the house of the Lord;
they flourish in bthe courts of our God.
14They still bear fruit in old age;
they are ever full of sap and green,

Matthew 3:10

10Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. lEvery tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 7:16-20

16You will recognize them mby their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17So, nevery healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 oEvery tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus you will recognize them pby their fruits.

A Tree Is Known by Its Fruit
