Psalms 94:12-23

12 ^aBlessed is the man whom you ^bdiscipline, O Lord,
and whom you teach out of your law,
13 to give him ^crest from ^ddays of trouble,
until ^ea pit is dug for the wicked.
14 ^fFor the Lord will not forsake his ^gpeople;
he will not abandon his ^hheritage;
15 for ⁱjustice will return to the righteous,
and all the upright in heart will ^jfollow it.
16 ^kWho rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17 ^lIf the Lord had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of ^msilence.
18 When I thought, ⁿ“My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, ^oheld me up.
19 When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul.
20 Can ^pwicked rulers be allied with you,
those who frame injustice by ^qstatute?
21 They ^rband together against the life of the righteous
and condemn ^sthe innocent to death. ^{▼▼Hebrew condemn innocent blood}
22 But the Lord has become my ^ustronghold,
and my God ^vthe rock of my ^wrefuge.
23 He will bring back on them ^xtheir iniquity
and ^ywipe them out for their wickedness;
the Lord our God will wipe them out.
