Psalms 94:14

14 aFor the Lord will not forsake his bpeople;
he will not abandon his cheritage;

Jeremiah 33:21-22

21 dthen also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers. 22As ethe host of heaven cannot be numbered and fthe sands of the sea cannot be measured, so I will multiply the offspring of David my servant, and the Levitical priests who minister to me.”

Romans 11:1-6

The Remnant of Israel

1I ask, then, ghas God rejected his people? By no means! For hI myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham,
Or one of the offspring of Abraham
a member of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 jGod has not rejected his people whom he kforeknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? 3 lLord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” 4But what is God’s reply to him? m“I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5So too at the present time there is na remnant, chosen by grace. 6 oBut if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
