Psalms 96

Worship in the Splendor of Holiness

1 aOh sing to the Lord ba new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
2Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
ctell of his salvation from day to day.
3Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
4For dgreat is the Lord, and egreatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above fall gods.
5For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the Lord gmade the heavens.
6Splendor and majesty are before him;
hstrength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Ascribe to the Lord, O ifamilies of the peoples,
jascribe to the Lord glory and strength!
8Ascribe to the Lord kthe glory due his name;
bring lan offering, and mcome into his courts!
9Worship the Lord in nthe splendor of holiness;
Or  in holy attire

ptremble before him, all the earth!
10 Say among the nations, q“The Lord reigns!
Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved;
he will rjudge the peoples with equity.”
11 Let sthe heavens be glad, and let tthe earth rejoice;
let uthe sea roar, and all that fills it;
12let vthe field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all wthe trees of the forest sing for joy
13before the Lord, for he comes,
for he comes xto judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness,
and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Psalms 105:1-15

Tell of All His Wonderful Works

1 yOh give thanks to the Lord; zcall upon his name;
aamake known his deeds among the peoples!
2Sing to him, sing praises to him;
abtell of all his wondrous works!
3Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
4Seek the Lord and his acstrength;
adseek his presence continually!
5Remember the aewondrous works that he has done,
his miracles, and afthe judgments he uttered,
6O offspring of agAbraham, his servant,
children of Jacob, his ahchosen ones!
7 He is the Lord our God;
his aijudgments are in all the earth.
8He ajremembers his covenant forever,
the word that he commanded, for aka thousand generations,
9 althe covenant that he made with Abraham,
his amsworn promise to Isaac,
10which he confirmed to anJacob as a statute,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11saying, ao“To you I will give the land of Canaan
as apyour portion for an inheritance.”
12 When they were aqfew in number,
of little account, and arsojourners in it,
13wandering from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another people,
14he asallowed no one to oppress them;
he atrebuked kings on their account,
15saying, auTouch not my anointed ones,
do my prophets no harm!”

Psalms 106:47-48

47 avSave us, O Lord our God,
and awgather us from among the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name
and glory in your praise.
48 axBlessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting!
ayAnd let all the people say, “Amen!”
azPraise the Lord!
