Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

A Psalm.

1 Oh sing to the Lord ^aa new song,
for he has done ^bmarvelous things!
His ^cright hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has ^dmade known his salvation;
he has ^erevealed his righteousness in ^fthe sight of the nations.
3 He has ^gremembered his ^hsteadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All ⁱthe ends of the earth have seen
^jthe salvation of our God.
4 ^kMake a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth;
^lbreak forth into joyous song and sing praises!
5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the ^msound of melody!
6 With ⁿtrumpets and the sound of ^othe horn
^pmake a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!
7 ^qLet the sea roar, and ^rall that fills it;
^sthe world and those who dwell in it!
8 Let the rivers ^tclap their hands;
let ^uthe hills sing for joy together
9 before the Lord, for he comes
to ^vjudge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness,
and the peoples with equity.
