Psalms 98:5-9

5Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the asound of melody!
6With btrumpets and the sound of cthe horn
dmake a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!
7 eLet the sea roar, and fall that fills it;
gthe world and those who dwell in it!
8Let the rivers hclap their hands;
let ithe hills sing for joy together
9before the Lord, for he comes
to jjudge the earth.

The Hebrew for  you is singular in verse 1
will say lin that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
for though you were angry with me,
myour anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for nthe Lord God
Hebrew  for Yah, the Lord
is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
3 pWith joy you
The Hebrew for  you is plural in verses 3, 4
will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 25:8-9

8 rHe will swallow up death forever;
and sthe Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces,
and tthe reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth,
ufor the Lord has spoken.
9It will be said on that day,
Behold, this is our God; vwe have waited for him, that he might save us.
This is the Lord; we have waited for him;
wlet us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

The Future Glory of Israel

1 xArise, shine, for your light has come,
and ythe glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
