9I, John, your brother and apartner in bthe tribulation and cthe kingdom and dthe patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos eon account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 fI was in the Spirit gon the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice hlike a trumpet 11saying, i“Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”Revelation of John 2:4-5
4But I have this against you, that you have abandoned jthe love you had at first. 5Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do kthe works you did at first. If not, lI will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.
