The Seventh Trumpet

15Then athe seventh angel blew his trumpet, and bthere were loud voices in heaven, saying, c“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of dhis Christ, and ehe shall reign forever and ever.” 16And the twenty-four elders fwho sit on their thrones before God gfell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying,

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
hwho is and who was,
for you have taken your great power
and ibegun to reign.
18The nations raged,
but jyour wrath came,
and kthe time for the dead to be judged,
and for rewarding your servants,
Greek bondservants
the prophets and saints,
and mthose who fear your name,
both small and great,
and nfor destroying the destroyers of the earth.”
19Then oGod’s temple in heaven was opened, and pthe ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings,
Or voices, or sounds
peals of thunder, an earthquake, and rheavy hail.

Revelation of John 12:1-10

The Woman and the Dragon

1And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman sclothed with tthe sun, with uthe moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. 2She was pregnant and vwas crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. 3And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great wred dragon, xwith seven heads and yten horns, and on his heads zseven diadems. 4His tail swept down aaa third of the stars of heaven and abcast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her child ache might devour it. 5She gave birth to a male child, adone who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was aecaught up to God and to his throne, 6and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for af1,260 days.

Satan Thrown Down to Earth

7Now war arose in heaven, agMichael and ahhis angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9And aithe great dragon was thrown down, ajthat ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, akthe deceiver of the whole worldalhe was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. 10And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now amthe salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers

has been thrown down, aowho accuses them day and night before our God.
