The Seventh Trumpet

15 Then ^athe seventh angel blew his trumpet, and ^bthere were loud voices in heaven, saying, ^c“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of ^dhis Christ, and ^ehe shall reign forever and ever.” 16 And the twenty-four elders ^fwho sit on their thrones before God ^gfell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying,

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
^hwho is and who was,
for you have taken your great power
and ⁱbegun to reign.
18 The nations raged,
but ^jyour wrath came,
and ^kthe time for the dead to be judged,
and for rewarding your servants, ^{▼▼Greek bondservants} the prophets and saints,
and ^mthose who fear your name,
both small and great,
and ⁿfor destroying the destroyers of the earth.”
19 Then ^oGod’s temple in heaven was opened, and ^pthe ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, ^{▼▼Or voices, or sounds} peals of thunder, an earthquake, and ^rheavy hail.
