The Second Beast
11Then fI saw another beast rising out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 12It exercises all the authority of the first beast in its presence, ▼▼Or on its behalf
and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, hwhose mortal wound was healed. Revelation of John 13:14

the beast jit deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast kthat was wounded by the sword and yet lived. Revelation of John 17:8
8The beast that you saw lwas, and is not, and mis about to rise from nthe bottomless pit ▼▼Greek the abyss
and pgo to destruction. And qthe dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in rthe book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because sit was and is not and is to come.
