14and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of ▼▼Or on behalf of
the beast bit deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast cthat was wounded by the sword and yet lived. Revelation of John 19:20

had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who gworshiped its image. These two were hthrown alive into the lake of ifire that burns with sulfur. Revelation of John 20:3
3and threw him into jthe pit, and shut it and ksealed it over him, so that lhe might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.
