13 He is clothed in ^aa robe dipped in ^{▼▼Some manuscripts sprinkled with} blood, and the name by which he is called is ^cThe Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, ^darrayed in fine linen, white and pure, ^ewere following him on white horses. 15 ^fFrom his mouth comes a sharp sword ^gwith which to strike down the nations, and ^hhe will rule them with a rod of iron. ⁱHe will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh ^jhe has a name written, ^kKing of kings and Lord of lords.

17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to ^lall the birds that fly directly overhead, ^m“Come, gather for ⁿthe great supper of God,
