The New Heaven and the New Earth

1 Then I saw ^aa new heaven and a new earth, for ^bthe first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2 And I saw ^cthe holy city, ^dnew Jerusalem, ^ecoming down out of heaven from God, ^fprepared ^gas a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, ^hthe dwelling place ^{▼▼Or tabernacle} of God is with man. He will ^jdwell with them, and they will be his people, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts peoples} and God himself will be with them as their God. ^{▼▼Some manuscripts omit as their God} 4 ^mHe will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and ⁿdeath shall be no more, ^oneither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Revelation of John 21:27

27 But ^pnothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s ^qbook of life.

14 Blessed are those who ^rwash their robes, ^{▼▼Some manuscripts do his commandments} so that they may have the right to ^tthe tree of life and that ^uthey may enter the city by the gates. 15 ^vOutside are ^wthe dogs ^xand sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
