Romans 1:20-23

20For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, ahave been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,
Or  clearly perceived from the creation of the world
in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they cbecame futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 dClaiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and eexchanged the glory of fthe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

1 Corinthians 1:19-21

19For it is written,

g“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
20 hWhere is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? iHas not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach
Or  the folly of preaching
to save those who believe.
