Romans 11:1

The Remnant of Israel

1I ask, then, ahas God rejected his people? By no means! For bI myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham,
Or one of the offspring of Abraham
a member of the tribe of Benjamin.

Romans 11:5-6

5So too at the present time there is da remnant, chosen by grace. 6 eBut if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

1 Corinthians 4:7

15The saying is utrustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus vcame into the world to save sinners, wof whom I am the foremost. 16But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.
