Romans 11:7-10

7What then? aIsrael failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest bwere hardened, 8as it is written,

cGod gave them a spirit of stupor,
deyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”
9And David says,

e“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
10let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see,
and bend their backs forever.”

Romans 11:25

The Mystery of Israel’s Salvation

25 fLest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:
Or  brothers and sisters
ha partial hardening has come upon Israel, iuntil the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3And even jif our gospel is veiled, kit is veiled to lthose who are perishing. 4In their case mthe god of this world nhas blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing othe light of pthe gospel of the glory of Christ, qwho is the image of God.
