Romans 11:7-10

7What then? aIsrael failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest bwere hardened, 8as it is written,

cGod gave them a spirit of stupor,
deyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”
9And David says,

e“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
10let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see,
and bend their backs forever.”

2 Corinthians 3:14-16

14But ftheir minds were ghardened. For to this day, hwhen they read ithe old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away. 15Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over their hearts. 16But when jone
Greek he
turns to the Lord, lthe veil is removed.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3And even mif our gospel is veiled, nit is veiled to othose who are perishing. 4In their case pthe god of this world qhas blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing rthe light of sthe gospel of the glory of Christ, twho is the image of God.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

9The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan uwith all power and false signs and wonders, 10and with all wicked deception for vthose who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11Therefore wGod sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe xwhat is false, 12in order that all may be condemned ywho did not believe the truth but zhad pleasure in unrighteousness.
