Romans 12:12-21

12 ^aRejoice in hope, ^bbe patient in tribulation, ^cbe constant in prayer. 13 ^dContribute to the needs of the saints and ^eseek to show hospitality.

14 ^fBless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 ^gRejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 ^hLive in harmony with one another. ⁱDo not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. ^{▼▼Or give yourselves to humble tasks} ^kNever be wise in your own sight. 17 ^lRepay no one evil for evil, but ^mgive thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, ⁿlive peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, ^onever avenge yourselves, but leave it ^{▼▼Greek give place} to the wrath of God, for it is written, ^q“Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” 20 To the contrary, ^r“if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
