8 ^aOwe no one anything, except to love each other, for ^bthe one who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, ^c“You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: ^d“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore ^elove is the fulfilling of the law.

Galatians 5:13-14

13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. ^fOnly do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love ^gserve one another. 14 For ^hthe whole law is fulfilled in one word: ⁱ“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 Timothy 1:5

5 The aim of our charge is love ^jthat issues from a pure heart and ^ka good conscience and ^la sincere faith.

James 2:10-13

10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point ^mhas become guilty of all of it. 11 For he who said, ⁿ“Do not commit adultery,” also said, ^o“Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under ^pthe law of liberty. 13 For ^qjudgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
