Romans 15:1

The Example of Christ

1 aWe who are strong bhave an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

1 Corinthians 8:8-13

8 cFood will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9But take care dthat this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block eto the weak. 10For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating
Greek reclining at table
in an idol’s temple, will he not be encouraged,
Or fortified; Greek built up
if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?
11And so by your knowledge this weak person is hdestroyed, the brother for whom Christ died. 12Thus, sinning against your brothers
Or  brothers and sisters
and jwounding their conscience when it is weak, kyou sin against Christ.
13Therefore, lif food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.

1 Corinthians 9:22

22 mTo the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. nI have become all things to all people, that oby all means I might save some.

1 Corinthians 11:22

22What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise pthe church of God and qhumiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not.

1 Corinthians 16:11

11So rlet no one despise him. sHelp him on his way tin peace, that he may return to me, for I am expecting him with the brothers.

2 Corinthians 10:1

Paul Defends His Ministry

1 uI, Paul, myself entreat you, by the vmeekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!—

2 Corinthians 10:10

10For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but whis bodily presence is weak, and xhis speech of no account.”

Galatians 4:13-14

13You know it was ybecause of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you zat first, 14and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me aaas an angel of God, abas Christ Jesus.
