Romans 15:4

2 Corinthians 1:4-6

4 dwho comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5For as we share abundantly in eChrist’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.
Or For as the sufferings of Christ abound for us, so also our comfort abounds through Christ
6 gIf we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

2 Corinthians 4:8-12

8We are hafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9persecuted, but inot forsaken; jstruck down, but not destroyed; 10 kalways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, lso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. 11For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesussake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12So mdeath is at work in us, but life in you.

2 Corinthians 6:9-10

9as unknown, and nyet well known; oas dying, and behold, we live; pas punished, and yet not killed; 10 qas sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; ras poor, yet making many rich; sas having nothing, tyet possessing everything.

James 1:12

12 uBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive vthe crown of life, wwhich God has promised to those who love him.

1 Peter 1:6-7

6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by xvarious trials, 7so that ythe tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes zthough it is tested by aafire—may be found to result in abpraise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 5:10

10And acafter you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, adwho has called you to his aeeternal glory in Christ, will himself afrestore, agconfirm, strengthen, and establish you.
