Final Instructions and Greetings

17I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles acontrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; bavoid them. 18For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but ctheir own appetites,
Greek  their own belly
and eby smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

Ephesians 5:3-4

3But fsexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness gmust not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4Let there be hno filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, iwhich are out of place, but instead jlet there be thanksgiving.

Colossians 3:8-9

8But now kyou must put them all away: langer, wrath, malice, mslander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 nDo not lie to one another, seeing that oyou have put off pthe old self

False Prophets and Teachers

1But yfalse prophets also arose among the people, zjust as there will be false teachers among you, who will aasecretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master abwho bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth acwill be blasphemed.
