23 You who ^bboast in the law ^cdishonor God by breaking the law. 24 For, ^das it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed ^eamong the Gentiles because of you.”

25 For circumcision indeed is of value ^fif you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. 26 So, if ^ga man who is uncircumcised keeps ^hthe precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded ^{▼▼Or counted} as circumcision? 27 Then he who is physically ^{▼▼Or is by nature} uncircumcised but keeps the law ^kwill condemn you who have ^lthe written code ^{▼▼Or the letter} and circumcision but break the law. 28 For ⁿno one is a Jew ^owho is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. 29 But a Jew is one ^pinwardly, and ^qcircumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. ^rHis praise is not from man but from God.

1 Corinthians 4:7-8

7 For who sees anything different in you? ^sWhat do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?

8 Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you!
