Romans 2:17

17But if you call yourself a Jew and arely on the law and boast in God

Romans 2:23-29

23You who bboast in the law cdishonor God by breaking the law. 24For, das it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed eamong the Gentiles because of you.”

25For circumcision indeed is of value fif you obey the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. 26So, if ga man who is uncircumcised keeps hthe precepts of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded
Or counted
as circumcision?
27Then he who is physically
Or  is by nature
uncircumcised but keeps the law kwill condemn you who have lthe written code
Or  the letter
and circumcision but break the law.
28For nno one is a Jew owho is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical. 29But a Jew is one pinwardly, and qcircumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. rHis praise is not from man but from God.

1 Corinthians 4:7-8

7For who sees anything different in you? sWhat do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?

8Already you have all you want! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you!

1 Corinthians 5:2

2And tyou are arrogant! Ought you unot rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.

1 Corinthians 5:6

6 vYour boasting is not good. Do you not know that wa little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Galatians 6:13

13For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
