Romans 3:19-26

The Righteousness of God Through Faith

21But now sthe righteousness of God thas been manifested apart from the law, although uthe Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22the righteousness of God vthrough faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. wFor there is no distinction: 23for xall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 yand are justified zby his grace as a gift, aathrough the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God abput forward as aca propitiation adby his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in aehis divine forbearance he had passed over afformer sins. 26It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 9:22-23

22What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience agvessels of wrath ahprepared for destruction, 23in order to make known aithe riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he ajhas prepared beforehand for glory
