Romans 3:4-5

4By no means! aLet God be true though bevery one were a liar, as it is written,

cThat you may be justified in your words,
and prevail when you dare judged.”
5But if our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict ewrath on us? ( fI speak in a human way.)

Galatians 2:16

16yet we know that ga person is not justified
Or counted righteous (three times in verse 16); also verse 17
by works of the law ibut through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, jbecause by works of the law no one will be justified.

Galatians 3:7-14

7Know then that it is kthose of faith who are lthe sons of Abraham. 8And the Scripture, foreseeing that mGod would justify
Or count righteous; also verses 11, 24
the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, oIn you shall all the nations be blessed.”
9So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

10For all who rely on works of the law are punder a curse; for it is written, qCursed be everyone who does not rabide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” 11Now it is evident that sno one is justified before God by the law, for t“The righteous shall live by faith.”
Or The one who by faith is righteous will live
12But the law is not of faith, rather v“The one who does them shall live by them.” 13Christ wredeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for usfor it is written, xCursed is everyone who is hanged yon a tree”— 14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might zcome to the Gentiles, so that aawe might receive abthe promised Spirit
Greek  receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith.
