Romans 3:9-20

No One Is Righteous

9What then? Are we Jews
Greek  Are we
any better off?
Or at any disadvantage?
No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both cJews and dGreeks, are eunder sin,
10as it is written:

f“None is righteous, no, not one;
11no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
12All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one.”
13 gTheir throat is han open grave;
they use their tongues to deceive.”
i“The venom of asps is under their lips.”
14 jTheir mouth is full of curses and bitterness.”
15 kTheir feet are swift to shed blood;
16in their paths are ruin and misery,
17and lthe way of peace they have not known.”
18 m“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19Now we know that whatever nthe law says it speaks to those who are under the law, oso that every mouth may be stopped, and pthe whole world may be held accountable to God. 20For qby works of the law no human being
Greek flesh
will be justified in his sight, since sthrough the law comes knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:23

23for tall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Ephesians 2:3

3among whom we all once lived in uthe passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body
Greek flesh
and the mind, and wwere by nature xchildren of wrath, like the rest of mankind.
Greek  like the rest

1 John 5:19
