Romans 4:11-16

11 aHe received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was bto make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well, 12and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

The Promise Realized Through Faith

13For cthe promise to Abraham and his offspring dthat he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith. 14 eFor if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15For fthe law brings wrath, but gwhere there is no law hthere is no transgression.

16That is why it depends on faith, iin order that the promise may rest on grace and jbe guaranteed to all his offspringnot only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, kwho is the father of us all,

Romans 5:20-21

20Now lthe law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, mgrace abounded all the more, 21so that, nas sin reigned in death, ograce also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 3:14

14so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might pcome to the Gentiles, so that qwe might receive rthe promised Spirit
Greek  receive the promise of the Spirit
through faith.

Galatians 3:17

17This is what I mean: the law, which came t430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as uto make the promise void.

Galatians 3:29

29And vif you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, wheirs according to promise.

2 Timothy 1:1

Hebrews 6:13-17

The Certainty of God’s Promise

13For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, aahe swore by himself, 14saying, abSurely I will bless you and multiply you.” 15And thus Abraham,
Greek he
adhaving patiently waited, obtained the promise.
16For people swear by something greater than themselves, and in all their disputes aean oath is final for confirmation. 17So when God desired to show more convincingly to afthe heirs of the promise agthe unchangeable character of his purpose, ahhe guaranteed it with an oath,

Hebrews 9:15

15Therefore he is aithe mediator of a new covenant, so that ajthose who are called may akreceive the promised eternal inheritance, alsince a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
The Greek word means both  covenant and will; also verses 16, 17

2 Peter 1:4

4by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become anpartakers of the divine nature, aohaving escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
