Romans 5:1-5

Peace with God Through Faith

1 ^aTherefore, since we have been justified by faith, ^bwe ^{▼▼Some manuscripts let us} have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also ^dobtained access by faith ^{▼▼Some manuscripts omit by faith} into this grace ^fin which we stand, and ^gwe ^{▼▼Or let us; also verse 3} rejoice ^{▼▼Or boast; also verses 3, 11} in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we ^jrejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering ^kproduces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and ^lhope does not put us to shame, because God’s love ^mhas been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
