Romans 6:12-13

12Let not asin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. 13 bDo not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but cpresent yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.

Romans 6:19

19 dI am speaking in human terms, because of your natural limitations. For ejust as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members fas slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.

Romans 12:1-2

A Living Sacrifice

1 gI appeal to you therefore, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
by the mercies of God, ito present your bodies jas a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Or your rational service
2 lDo not be conformed to this world,
Greek age
but be transformed by nthe renewal of your mind, that by testing you may odiscern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Or  what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God

1 Corinthians 6:12-20

Flee Sexual Immorality

12 q“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 rFood is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one sand the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but tfor the Lord, and uthe Lord for the body. 14And vGod raised the Lord and wwill also raise us up xby his power. 15Do you not know that yyour bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! 16Or do you not know that he who is joined
Or  who holds fast (compare Genesis 2:24 and Deuteronomy 10:20); also verse 17
to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, aa“The two will become one flesh.”
17But he who is joined to the Lord abbecomes one spirit with him. 18 acFlee from sexual immorality. Every other sin
Or  Every sin
a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person aesins against his own body.
19Or afdo you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? agYou are not your own, 20 ahfor you were bought with a price. aiSo glorify God in your body.
