Romans 6:14

14For asin bwill have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 7:5-6

5For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work cin our members dto bear fruit for death. 6But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the enew way of fthe Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.

Romans 9:30-32

Israel’s Unbelief

30What shall we say, then? hThat Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, ia righteousness that is by faith; 31but that Israel jwho pursued a law that would lead to righteousness
Greek  a law of righteousness
ldid not succeed in reaching that law.
32Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the mstumbling stone,

Romans 10:3-10

3For, being ignorant of nthe righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4For oChrist is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Or  end of the law, that everyone who believes may be justified

The Message of Salvation to All

5For qMoses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that rthe person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But sthe righteousness based on faith says, t“Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7orWho will descend into the uabyss?’” (that is, vto bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? w“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if xyou confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ybelieve in your heart zthat God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Galatians 3:10

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

10For all who rely on works of the law are aaunder a curse; for it is written, abCursed be everyone who does not acabide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”

Galatians 3:23-24

23Now before faith came, we were held captive under the law, adimprisoned until the coming faith would be revealed. 24So then, aethe law was our afguardian until Christ came, agin order that we might be justified by faith.

Galatians 4:9

9But now that you have come to know God, or rather ahto be known by God, aihow can you turn back again to ajthe weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?
