Romans 6:2-11

2By no means! How can awe who died to sin still live in it? 3Do you not know that all of us bwho have been baptized cinto Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were dburied therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as eChrist was raised from the dead by fthe glory of the Father, we too might walk in gnewness of life.

5For hif we have been united with him in ia death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6We know that jour old self
Greek man
lwas crucified with him in order that mthe body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.
7For none who has died ohas been set free
Greek  has been justified
from sin.
8Now qif we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9We know that rChrist, being raised from the dead, will never die again; sdeath no longer has dominion over him. 10For the death he died he died to sin, tonce for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11So you also must consider yourselves udead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 2:20

20I have been vcrucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives win me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, xwho loved me and ygave himself for me.

Colossians 3:3

3For zyou have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

1 Peter 4:1-3

Stewards of God’s Grace

1Since therefore aaChrist suffered in the flesh,
Some manuscripts add for us; some for you
acarm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for adwhoever has suffered in the flesh aehas ceased from sin,
2 afso as to live for agthe rest of the time in the flesh ahno longer for human passions but aifor the will of God. 3For the time that is past ajsuffices akfor doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.
