Romans 7:5

Romans 8:7-8

Galatians 5:19-21

Warning Against Worldliness

1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask ^qwrongly, to spend it on your passions.

1 Peter 4:2-3

2 ^rso as to live for ^sthe rest of the time in the flesh ^tno longer for human passions but ^ufor the will of God. 3 For the time that is past ^vsuffices ^wfor doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.
