Life in the Spirit

1There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Some manuscripts add who walk not according to the flesh (but according to the Spirit)

Romans 8:3

3For bGod has done what the law, cweakened by the flesh, dcould not do. eBy sending his own Son fin the likeness of sinful flesh and gfor sin,
Or  and as a sin offering
he condemned sin in the flesh,

Romans 8:30-34

30And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also ijustified, and those whom he justified he also jglorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? kIf God is for us, who can be
Or  who is
against us?
32 mHe who did not spare his own Son but ngave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? oIt is God who justifies. 34 pWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raisedqwho is at the right hand of God, rwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?

Romans 10:10

10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

1 Corinthians 6:11

11And tsuch were some of you. But uyou were washed, vyou were sanctified, wyou were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Galatians 2:16

16yet we know that xa person is not justified
Or counted righteous (three times in verse 16); also verse 17
by works of the law zbut through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, aabecause by works of the law no one will be justified.

Galatians 3:8

8And the Scripture, foreseeing that abGod would justify
Or count righteous; also verses 11, 24
the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, adIn you shall all the nations be blessed.”
