Romans 8:23-25

Now fhope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25But if we hope for what we do not see, we gwait for it with patience.

2 Corinthians 4:18

18 has we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Our Heavenly Dwelling

1For we know that if ithe tent that is jour earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, ka house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this tent lwe groan, longing to mput on our heavenly dwelling, 3if indeed by putting it on

4For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdenednot that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal omay be swallowed up by life. 5He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, pwho has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

6So we are always of good courage. We know that qwhile we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7for rwe walk by faith, not sby sight.

Philippians 1:23

23 tI am hard pressed between the two. My desire is uto depart and vbe with Christ, for that is far better.

Hebrews 11:16

16But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed wto be called their God, for xhe has prepared for them a city.

Hebrews 13:14

14For yhere we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.
