Romans 8:34

34 aWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raisedbwho is at the right hand of God, cwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?

Hebrews 1:3

3He is the radiance of the glory of God and ethe exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. fAfter making purification for sins, ghe sat down hat the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Hebrews 4:14-16

Jesus the Great High Priest

14Since then we have ia great high priest jwho has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, klet us hold fast our confession. 15For we do not have a high priest lwho is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been mtempted as we are, nyet without sin. 16 oLet us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 7:21-26

21but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him:

p“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
You are a priest forever.’”
22This makes Jesus the guarantor of qa better covenant.

23The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office, 24but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues rforever. 25Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost
That is, completely; or at all times
tthose who draw near to God uthrough him, since he always lives vto make intercession for them.

26For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, wholy, innocent, unstained, xseparated from sinners, and yexalted above the heavens.

Hebrews 9:15-24

15Therefore he is zthe mediator of a new covenant, so that aathose who are called may abreceive the promised eternal inheritance, acsince a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
The Greek word means both  covenant and will; also verses 16, 17
16For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established. 17For aea will takes effect only at death, since it is not in force as long as the one who made it is alive. 18Therefore not even the first covenant was inaugurated afwithout blood. 19For when every commandment of the law had been declared by Moses to all the people, he took agthe blood of calves and goats, ahwith water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, 20saying, aiThis is the blood of the covenant that God commanded for you.” 21And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both ajthe tent and all the vessels used in worship. 22Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and akwithout the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

23Thus it was necessary for althe copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these rites, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ has entered, not into holy places ammade with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God anon our behalf.

1 John 2:2

2 aoHe is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but apalso for the sins of the whole world.

Revelation of John 5:9-10

9And they sang aqa new song, saying,

Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for aryou were slain, and by your blood asyou ransomed people for God
from atevery tribe and language and people and nation,
10and you have made them aua kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
