Romans 9:30-33

Israel’s Unbelief

30 What shall we say, then? ^dThat Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, ^ea righteousness that is by faith; 31 but that Israel ^fwho pursued a law that would lead to righteousness ^{▼▼Greek a law of righteousness} ^hdid not succeed in reaching that law. 32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the ⁱstumbling stone, 33 as it is written,

^j“Behold, I am laying in Zion ^ka stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
^land whoever believes in him will not be ^mput to shame.”

Romans 10:12-13

12 ⁿFor there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; ^ofor the same Lord is Lord of all, ^pbestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For ^q“everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 11:11-15

Gentiles Grafted In

11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespass ^rsalvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion ^{▼▼Greek their fullness} mean!

13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as ^tI am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry 14 in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and ^uthus save some of them. 15 For if their rejection means ^vthe reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?
