Romans 9:25-26
25As indeed he says in Hosea,a“Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’
and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”
26 b“And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called c‘sons of the living God.’”
Romans 9:33
33as it is written,d“Behold, I am laying in Zion ea stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
fand whoever believes in him will not be gput to shame.”
Romans 10:16
16But hthey have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, i“Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?”Romans 10:19-21
19But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says,j“I will kmake you jealous of those who are not a nation;
with a lfoolish nation I will make you angry.”
20Then Isaiah is so bold as to say,
m“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”
21But of Israel he says, n“All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”
Romans 11:26-27
26And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,o“The Deliverer will come pfrom Zion,
he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27“and this will be my qcovenant with them
rwhen I take away their sins.”
Romans 15:9-13
9and in order sthat the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,t“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles,
and sing to your name.”
10And again it is said,
u“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”
11And again,
v“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles,
and let all the peoples extol him.”
12And again Isaiah says,
w, x“The root of Jesse will come,
even he who arises to rule the Gentiles;
yin him will the Gentiles hope.”
13May the God of hope fill you with all zjoy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
