Romans 9:4

4They are aIsraelites, and to them belong bthe adoption, cthe glory, dthe covenants, ethe giving of the law, fthe worship, and gthe promises.

Galatians 3:16-21

16Now hthe promises were made ito Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, jAnd to your offspring,” who is Christ. 17This is what I mean: the law, which came k430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as lto make the promise void. 18For if the inheritance comes by the law, it no longer comes by promise; but mGod gave it to Abraham by a promise.

19Why then the law? nIt was added because of transgressions, ountil the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made, and it was pput in place through angels qby an intermediary. 20Now ran intermediary implies more than one, but sGod is one.

21Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For tif a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law.

Hebrews 8:10-12

10 zFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and aawrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall aball know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
acand I will remember their sins no more.”

2 Peter 1:4
