Ruth 1:14-18

14Then they lifted up their voices and wept again. And Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.

15And she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to aher gods; return after your sister-in-law.” 16But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. bYour people shall be my people, and your God my God. 17Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. cMay the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” 18 dAnd when Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more.

Esther 8:17

17And in every province and in every city, wherever the king’s command and his edict reached, there was gladness and joy among the Jews, a feast and ea holiday. fAnd many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Jews, gfor fear of the Jews had fallen on them.

Isaiah 19:24-25

24In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, ha blessing in the midst of the earth, 25whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt imy people, and Assyria jthe work of my hands, and kIsrael my inheritance.”

Isaiah 49:16-23

16Behold, lI have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.
17Your builders make haste;

nyour destroyers and those who laid you waste go out from you.
18 oLift up your eyes around and see;
they all gather, they come to you.
pAs I live, declares the Lord,
qyou shall put them all on as an ornament;
you shall bind them on as a bride does.
19 Surely your waste and your desolate places
and your devastated land
rsurely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants,
and those who swallowed you up will be far away.
20 sThe children of your bereavement
will yet say in your ears:
t‘The place is too narrow for me;
make room for me to dwell in.’
21Then you will say in your heart:
Who has borne me these?
uI was bereaved and barren,
exiled and put away,
but who has brought up these?
Behold, I was left alone;
from where have these come?’”
22 Thus says the Lord God:
Behold, I will lift up my hand to the nations,
vand raise my signal to the peoples;
wand they shall bring your sons in their arms,
Hebrew  in their bosom

and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders.
23 yKings shall be your foster fathers,
and their queens your nursing mothers.
zWith their faces to the ground they shall bow down to you,
and aalick the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the Lord;
abthose who wait for me acshall not be put to shame.”

Isaiah 56:6-8

6 “And adthe foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord,
and to be his servants,
everyone aewho keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
and holds fast my covenant
7 afthese I will bring to agmy holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer;
ahtheir burnt offerings and their sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
for aimy house shall be called a house of prayer
for all peoples.”
8The Lord God,
ajwho gathers the outcasts of Israel, declares,
ak“I will gather yet others to him
besides those already gathered.”

Isaiah 60:3-5

3 alAnd nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 amLift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
anyour sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5Then you shall see and aobe radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
Hebrew  your heart shall tremble and grow wide

because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
aqthe wealth of the nations shall come to you.

Isaiah 66:20

20 arAnd they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations asas an offering to the Lord, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the Lord.
