The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, uwhich is at work in you believers.

2 Peter 1:5-8

5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith vwith virtue,

and virtue xwith knowledge,
6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control ywith steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7and godliness zwith brotherly affection, and brotherly affection aawith love. 8For if these qualities
Greek  these things; also verses 9, 10, 12
are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or acunfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
