And ^ethe prophets, do they live forever? 6 ^fBut my words and my statutes, which I commanded ^gmy servants the prophets, did they not ^hovertake your fathers? So they repented and said, ⁱ‘As the Lord of hosts purposed to deal with us for ^jour ways and ^kdeeds, so has he dealt with us.’”

Zechariah 7:11-13

11 But ^lthey refused to pay attention ^mand turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears that they might not hear. ^{▼▼Hebrew and made their ears too heavy to hear} 12 ^oThey made their hearts diamond-hard ^plest they should hear the law and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent ^qby his Spirit through ^rthe former prophets. ^sTherefore great anger came from the Lord of hosts. 13 ^t“As I ^{▼▼Hebrew he} called, and they would not hear, ^vso they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts,

Hebrews 12:25

25 See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For ^wif they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.
