Zechariah 11:12-13

12Then I said to them, “If it seems good to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them.” And they weighed out as my wages athirty pieces of silver. 13Then the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”— bthe lordly price at which I was priced by them. So I took the cthirty pieces of silver and threw them into the house of the Lord, to the potter.

Matthew 26:15-16

15and said, “What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they dpaid him ethirty pieces of silver. 16And from that moment he sought an opportunity fto betray him.

It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
